The Southern Voices' Advocacy Toolkits are now reaching more than 10.000 new readers.
The Advocacy Toolkits have recently been distributed as a featured publication in the IIED monthly newsletter and promoted on the Soul Beat Africa website.
Soul Beat Africa have also planned to include the Toolkits in their electronic newsletter, which has over 16.000 subscribers across Africa and globally.
The Advocacy Toolkits now reach a larger audience, which can hopefully ensure a further promotion as well as an increased number downloads of the publication.
Background information
The Southern Voices´ Advocacy Toolkits were launched in October 2014 and subsequently promoted on the COP20 in Lima.
The Toolkits are based on the practical experience of civil society organisations associated with the Southern Voices programme around the world.
They have been structured to help others plan and deliver effective advocacy to combat the causes and effects of climate change, to support and protect poor and vulnerable communities, and to ensure that their voices are heard by policy makers locally, nationally and globally.
