The report provides an anlaysis of the tools and tactics advocacy groups use to influence policy responces on climate change at international, regional, national and sub-national levels. More that 20 networks in the Southern Voices programme - and their member organisations - have contributed with their experiences of advocacy on climate change from a wide range of countries - including many of the poorest countries - in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Pacific. The advocacy activities primarily target national governments, but also international and regional processes, donors and the private sector.

The report has been edited by Hannah Reid, consulting researcher with the International Institute of Environment and Development, IIED, and a team of Southern NGO Experts.
